I’m Recovering From Stress & Complex Trauma
After decades of suffering the hopeless stress of narcissistic abuse, twenty years ago my life stalled completely with a mysterious chronic illness. I required an electric wheelchair. I lost my skills, my job, my friends. Eventually I lost everyone and everything I loved.
I’d always tried to figure it out: reading, therapy, groups, endless hours on the internet. Eventually, I began to learn how stress and trauma is stored in the body. And how they cause very real damage to our brains and bodies.
My Breakthrough
It began with discovering body-based practices that are simple and extremely well researched. After a few months, I was out of that wheelchair. It’s been collecting dust for over two years.
Using a combination of easy, effective, evidence-based tools, I learned how to release stress, change beliefs, heal traumatic memories, and reduce or eliminate pain.
It takes effort, but effort doesn’t mean hard. It’s a decision and commitment to get well every day, with practice not perfection.
